Day 1: Lhasa
Arrival Lhasa airport from the end of our tours or private holiday packages. Chauffeur to hotel. Take the time to relax and acclimatize to your new environment on the top of the world!
Day 2: Lhasa (B,L)
Divine, mystical and incredibly intimate - the Jokhang Temple is the spiritual center of Tibet. Spend a little time on the sacred Barkhor Pilgrim Circuit where a continual clockwise stream of pilgrims walk, crawl or lay continually prostrate as they slowly make their way to the temple.
Lunch will be served in what once thought to be a secret residence of the 6th Dali Lama (known locally as the "Yellow House") and has become a mecca for "those in the know". Afternoon visit Sera Monastery.
Day 3: Lhasa (B,L)
This morning you will explore the winter residence of the Dalai Lamas at Potala Palace. After a bite of lunch visit the Norbulingka, or Jeweled Park - with mixture of fragrant flowers, grasses and trees it was a place of relaxation & meditation. Not to be missed is a splendid mural depicting Tibetan history from its foundation to the present day.
Day 4: Rail Journey: Lhasa - Beijing/Shanghai/Chengdu (B)
This morning be prepared for the exciting journey on the World's highest railroad by Tibetan Sky Train to Beijing, Shanghai or Chengdu. Overnight onboard.

Day 6: Beijing / Shanghai / Chengdu
Arrival into Beijing, Shanghai or Chengdu - your choice. Greeted by our guide and connect with the tour in these cities.
