Day 1: Shanghai - Hangzhou (L)
Take a taxi to the Shanghai south railway station for the bullet train ride (80mins) to Hangzhou. Upon arrival you will be greeted by our guide and driver.

Explore the famed West Lake on smaller wooden ferry and visit the Peak from Afar. After lunch with local delicacies, visit the Tea Museum (the only museum devoted to tea culture in the country) followed by a scenic drive along the rolling tea planation before sipping down on the famous "Longji" tea.

Early evening chauffeur to the train station for your bullet train ride return to Shanghai.

* Its an easy taxi ride from your hotel to the Shanghai south railway station. The journey costs around £5. We will supply you the station name in Chinese and you can simply show it onto the taxi driver. Should you require a hotel-station transfer by private car, an additional £18/person is required.
