Beijing - Xian - Guilin - Yangshuo - Shanghai 10 Days
Day 1: Beijing
Arrival Beijing airport. Greeted by your personal driver and chauffeur to hotel.
Day 2: Beijing (B,L)
Morning visit Temple of Heaven. After lunch continue onto Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. There is an option to climb up to the hill of imperial Jingshan Park for a bird's eye view over the golden rooftop of the Forbidden City.
Day 3: Beijing (B,L)
Journey out to the Great Wall at Mutianyu Section (less touristy & quieter section). Afternoon on the way back, stop by a Cloisonne Workshop. Evening at leisure or optional Martial Arts performance.
Day 4: Beijing - Xian (B,L)
After a relaxed breakfast, visit Summer Palace and a boat ride on the Kunming Lake. Afternoon fly to Xian where you stay for 2 nights. This evening there is an optional Dumpling Dinner Show (£15/person).
Day 5: Xian (B,L)
Be impressed by the UNSECO World Heritage Sites of Terracotta Warriors. After lunch of a local speciality "hand-pulled noodles", view the production of Terracotta figurines in a local workshop before discovering the Buddhist treasures at Big Goose Pagoda.
Day 6: Xian - Guilin (B,L)
Leisurely stroll along the Ancient City Walls & South Gate (cycling option available). Afternoon catch a flight to Guilin. Chauffeur to hotel and settle in. Evening at leisure or optional night cruise on the lakes.
Day 7: Guilin & Yangshuo (B,L)
Cruise on Li River to Yangshuo. A buffet lunch will be served onboard. Disembark in the picturesque town of Yangshuo where you will have some leisure time before returning to your hotel in Guilin.
Day 8: Guilin - Shanghai (B,L)
Depart for a morning flight to Shanghai. After freshen up in your hotel, embark on a city orientation tour pointing out highlights such as The Bund, Yuyuan Garden & Bazaar, and Old French Concessionary.
Day 9: Shanghai (B)
Day free at leisure in Shanghai.
Day 10: Shanghai (B)
After breakfast chauffeur to the airport for your connecting flight home or onward destination.
* You can extend additional night stay in any city. We recommend a 2 nights extension stay in Yangshuo to allow yourself plenty of time to soak up the beautiful scenery.
