Oriental Travel is the UK's leading destination expert to China and south east Asia. Our office is run by a team of enthusiastic professionals who have grown up, lived or worked in all of the destinations we offer. Our concept is simple. We only offer our clients a holiday to destinations in which we are the experts - i.e. China, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Our London office is staffed by personnel with diverse and rich career and travel backgrounds, including a China specialist from the British Foreign Office, a cruise director who has extensively sailed in the Far East and an operations manager with over 20 years experience in the airline industry.
Our London office is located at the premium shopping & theatre district of Covent Garden in central London. Accreditation in the industry
For your financial protection, Oriental Travel holds license of both ATOL (Civil Aviation Authority) and IATA (International Air Transport Association).
The air holidays and flights shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Our ATOL number is 6965. ATOL protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom.

IATA (International Air Transport Association) approved travel companies have to meet strict criteria all over the world to be able to operate as a travel and ticket agent.
IATA lays out very strict financial criteria on its annual membership review to travel companies to ensure client funds are safe throughout the year as often
payments have to be taken well in advance.
In addition, as an accredited agent with the IATA, we have direct wholesaler contracts and are authorized to issue flight tickets directly with the airlines.
Travel companies that do not hold an IATA license cannot issue the tickets in-house, they will have to purchase your flights from a third party
(who may or may not be financially bonded) - which not only adds the risk of a third party handling, it may also complicate your booking if airline schedule change or cancel.
